Vent 3® High Performance is a breathable roof underlay that gives major benefits over traditional underlays.

Designed for use in a fully supported or unsupported tiled, slated or metal roof system or cladding system build up.

The successfulness of the product comes down to its three-layer structure, which has been carefully constructed using the highest quality materials.  

The function of the outer layer is to provide a highly waterproof surface, ensuring that your building remains protected against any adverse weather.  In addition to being impervious to any form of precipitation, Cromar Vent 3 High Performance Breathable Felt is highly resistant to the uplift force created by wind.

The middle layer has been designed to provide the felt with a breathable waterproof membrane, which allows any moisture vapour to pass through. Because water vapour can escape, it doesn’t re-enter your building, which if trapped, could cause issues relating to damp and poor ventilation.

The function of the inner layer is to protect the breathable membrane.  In addition to preventing abrasion and other possible forms of damage, it gives the entire structure of the Cromar Vent 3 High Performance extra strength and durability.

These rolls normally sell for around £65.00 + vat each. All our items are labelled and marked by the manufacturer. Please note sometimes the felt may not be in retail packaging but all products are Cromar and British standard marked on the roll.

These rolls have been classified as 'slight seconds' due to the high-Quality Assurance protocol followed by this manufacturer. The imperfections are slight, the minor imperfection is generally the length the roll has been cut, some slightly under 50m some over 50m. We will always ensure that this works out in your favour balancing the shorter rolls with larger ones.
